What do you do for a living?

“I am a visual artist. I began my career as a sculptor in the 80s, I also paint and write stories, and create scenaries. With a digital revolution in the 90s I did a lot of internet art and I conclude every cycle of my work with video art."

Where did you study to become a artist?

“ I studied in Paris at the Ecole National Superior de Beaux Art. But I had a lot of influence from Yiannis Tsarouhis, Minos Aryiakis and Takis. I study to paint from nature with Antonis Arpeyis at his studio in Athens. AT the Beaux Art painting with Hansel, Sculptor with Caesare, and lithography with Speranzas. I studied a lot of poligonic mathematics with the architect Kimon Skassi and all my digital work with Thanos Vassilakis.”

What is your latest work?

“My latest work is the graphic novel of Antigone of Sophokles. Antigone is a very big influence on me since I was a kid when my mother read to me. Now children lititure have heroes who are not enough idealist. I also organized the Mykonos Biennale destinantion with the theme crises and pagonese. A real DIonysis fantasy who became truth.”

What are your other talents?

“ I love to dance, to sing, to swim, and to write.”

What is the most magical thing you have seen or done?

“I saw once exatares in Thessalonika. I also have had an out body experience in New York and I saw a ghost in Maroussi. The most magical thing I have done is diliver two children.”

Whats next?

“I am working on a movie that is based on comic book, Beyond Being. But the next show it will be this September in Paris at the Vanessa Quang galerie and it will be about the first Mykonos Biennale.”
